Physician Employment Unification • For the past year, AHP and OMG have worked together to find a means of unifying the members of AHP and OMG into one Medical Group • This presentation serves as an update and request for feedback on our progress to date • The current OakCare contract expires in July 2020 without plans for renewal

  4. Overview of Alameda Health Partners Mission of AHP “Once fully operational, AHP will be the organization that employs, contracts, and affiliates with physicians on behalf of AHS. It will also become the entity that AHS partners with on initiatives aimed at improving clinical integration, improving quality, value, and the patient experience. AHP will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing physician-related issues, services, and support.”

Our goal is to provide excellent physician services to Alameda Health System, fulfilling a dual mission: delivering comprehensive health services to all who seek them; and training new physicians through our residency programs, to carry our mission into the future.

OakCare Medical Group • Formed in 1995 at the request of Alameda County Medical Center as a vehicle to bring together individual independent contractor physicians • Physician specialties include Emergency Medicine, OBGYN, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Subspecialties (Cardiology, Neurology, Critical Care/Pulmonary, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Palliative Care, Geriatrics, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Perinatology and Neonatology) • Also employs Emergency Medicine Advanced Practitioners • Manages resident teaching programs in Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine
