The Cooperativa Fonderia Dante was born thanks to a WBO of the employers of the pre existing Ferroli foundry, due to the will of the new Ferroli’s management to dismantle it. a WBO lies on: 1. The foundry was born in 1961 by the acquisition of a Stern forming system, regenerated from Savelli. The foundry extols a long and glorious history in the iron cast boilers field and its products were sold all over the World. The foundry was the first important investment by Dante Ferroli, which led to the opening of factories all over Europe that introduced innovative technologies, becoming in the last years a benchmark for the all sector and for multinationals competitors. Throughout the 2000s a lot of Italian foundries suffered: - the increasing of the production costs, which did not allowed them to be competitive anymore; - and the decrease of the demand for iron cast items on behalf of aluminum and steel inox. Company business is not limited to the manufacturing of iron cast items itself, we also assemble complete boilers. Thanks to the department of internal design, and the experience of the workers, our society is able to offer the customer a finished product and all the personalized services that are required . The foundry counts two domes with hot wind with a diameter of 1100 mm. We are able to melt cast iron and cast iron with high carbon in order to produce boilers and self-ventilated brake discs. The factory today has a production capacity that equals 17.000,00 kg of iron cast /h allowing the production of about 80.000 boilers and 1 million of brake disc each year . The average of our production is of items up to a maximum of 120 Kg, which allows us to cast a single piece each 16/18 seconds.
