Driver will confirm that they meet all pre-

requisites and have obtained all supporting documentations before they apply for their DBS and DVLA Checks

Removes the need for Manual Form to be

completed/signed off – officer time reduction 60 minutes per application

Removes the need for officers to answer

queries/emails for potential drivers – officer time reduction 15 minutes per application currently receiving 10-20 per week

Driver will then pay for their DBS & DVLA either

  • n line or phone, after which personnel

checks will email them full instructions and their DBS application login details and DVLA consent information

Reduces queries through the Contact Centre

and streamlines the payment, removes the current arrangement with Disclosure and Barring Services and invoice checking and payment – Time saving 20 minutes

application for the driver will be required to attend local Crown Post Office to have their ID documents Certified

Reducing the risk to the authority for

Counterfeit Documentation removes the risk for the Officer, improves right to work and cross references against national insurance numbers etc. – Time Reduction 15-20 Minutes per application
