Types of ParaPay Accounts

  • ParaPurse is used when you do not take enough trips to

make buying a monthly pass worthwhile, so you pay per

  • trip. Money from your ParaPurse account can be put

towards the cost of a monthly pass in the future.

  • ParaPass is the same as

buying a monthly pass. The electronic pass is put

  • n your account allowing

you to travel on Para Transpo for the month.

to pay my Para Transpo fare?

  • Cash will always be an option for fare payment on both Para

  • OC Transpo will soon be discontinuing use of all paper fare

products including tickets as we continue to get Ready4Rail.

  • Customers who only use Para Transpo:
  • Activating your ParaPay account is strongly recommended

as a hassle-free payment option.

  • Customers who use both OC and Para Transpo:
  • Best to use a Presto card (you must carry the Query receipt

to verify the fare on the card when travelling on Para Transpo).
