Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC):
- $125 million dollar investment over the last two years with no reliance on Public
Funding
- Is a privately owned and operated 1,600-acre state-of-the-art facility with 1,200
permanent stalls, 14 Competition Rings, indoor arena, 200 acre cross country course.
- Consistently draws 5,000-10,000 spectators across our venues during our Grand Prix
events
- Integrated Lodging, retail, restaurant, and lifestyle amenities
- Competition venues are complete around all disciplines. Currently operating 4 of the
WEG Disciplines (Jumping, Eventing, Dressage, Para-Dressage)

Mark Bellissimo Michael Stone Katherine Bellissimo Sharon Decker Jim Wolf
- Led by of Mark Bellissimo, owns and operates 3 of the largest facilities in the world
- Michael Stone has been directly involved in every FEI World Equestrian Games in various
capacities since 1990 (with the exception of Normandy)
- Jim Wolf was the Chef d'Mission for the US Equestrian Team at every Pan American Games,
World Equestrian Games and Olympic Games from 1996-2014
- Sharon Decker, Corporate Executive with 30 years experience, most recently serving as
secretary of Commerce State of North Carolina
- Katherine Bellissimo. Oversees one of the largest sponsor portfolios in Equestrian
World, tens of millions of dollars annually and over 130 sponsors Team runs more FEI competitions than any other organizer in the world
