SLIDE 8 This section of the agreement was drafted by Gulf Shores. Why would language be added stating GS would not honor principal contracts, if they wanted to hired the existing principals? The transfer was made and approved by the Baldwin County Board based on the language that Gulf Shores requested and signed off on.

Orange Beach Schools Athletics - FAQ
SLIDE 33 Orange Beach Schools Athletics - FAQ Once the principal has hired the Athletic director, he/she will begin to investigate which sports programs have enough student interest to warrant further discussion. If student interest is high enough, then the next step is to find a qualified coach/sponsor for the
- team. The AHSAA determines the qualification
for all coaches.

Orange Beach Schools Athletics - FAQ Once the principal has hired an athletic director, they will determine if any sports team is ready to declare varsity status. Since OBHS is starting with 9th graders and some 10th graders, it is most likely OBHS will not declare for varsity play. OBHS can play a Junior Varsity schedule for the 2019-2020 school year.
