1. The line change is a minor adjustment: five miles or less.
2. There is no apparent opposition to the change
3. The Enforcement Consultants did not appear to have any issues

with the adjustment.

adjustment.

9. Addresses National Standard 1: “Conservation and management

measures shall prevent overfishing while achieving, on a continuing basis, the optimum yield from each fishery for the United States fishing industry.” Optimum yield includes the economic benefit to fishing communities. Bringing a portion of the Fort Brag cell catch to Eureka will benefit both communities. Infrastructure in Eureka will experience a desperately needed boost and the intense pressure on Fort Brag infrastructure will be slightly relieved.
