Scope of the Covid-19 call

• Technologies enabling local resilience

• Disease tracking technology
• Smart technologies for critical production &

Belgium, Canada, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany (tbc), Netherlands, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Turkey

Target Group

• Swedish companies in collaboration with companies and organisations

from the other participating Eureka countries

• Participation of Swedish universities, university hospitals, research

institutes or other relevant actors is also encouraged

• Companies and organizations from countries that are not part of the call

can also participate if they can secure funding for their part of the project

Project requirements

Project start from 1 December 2020. Project duration up to 3 years. Project results implemented within 2 years after end of project Balanced project consortium: Funding of project participants is subject to national funding conditions. The project should benefit all involved partners in a well balanced consortium

• A Consortium Agreement should be prepared and signed by all participants

at project start

Swedish Funding Criteria

• Grant up to 30% for large companies
• Grant up to 50% for SMEs
• Grant up to 100% for Universities and Research Institutes

Maximum Vinnova grant per project:

• 3.75 M SEK jointly to the Swedish participants

Vinnova’s budget for the call:

• 15 M SEK

The application process – Eureka application (1)

• Follow the instructions under the heading “Submission portal”
• Registration: https://eureka.smartsimple.ie/iface/ex/ax_index.jsp
• Download and read the User Guidelines for the Eureka application portal
• The project coordinator completes the main application form and then invites

project participants to add partner specific information

Application process – Vinnova national application

• Swedish project participants submit a joint national application to Vinnova
• Apply in the national call on Vinnova’s webpage:

• Follow the directions for completing the application on Vinnova’s eServices

portal

• Enclose the Eureka application as project description
• Enclose a CV (maximum 3 A4 pages)
