▪ introduced in year 1999 ▪ represents an international collaboration between KTMB and the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) ▪ started with 2 weekly trains from Port Klang to Bangsue ▪ gradually expanded to major dry and sea ports in Malaysia and terminates at various stations and freight terminal in Thai territory. ▪ Shorter travelling time by rail from Port Klang – Bangsue takes 60 hours while sea transport takes 5-7 days.
