International Open Data Charter
In consultation with a number of international organizations, the OGP Open Data Working Group has developed a revised International Open Data Charter. It contains 5 principles:
- Open by Default;
- Quality and Quantity;
- Useable by All;
- Engagement and Empowerment of Citizens; and
- Collaboration for Development and Innovation.
Within each principle, a handful of clauses clarify the obligations for countries and
- rganizations implementing open data in their own jurisdiction.
