The condition of the exterior of Acorn Hall is very
- poor. If unattended, Acorn Hall will begin to
literally fall apart within the next few years…the worst is already happening [and] is past the point
- f a paint job or replacing some boards.
The restoration of Acorn Hall will be a major undertaking, one that will require a long term commitment if the preservation of the building is to be successful. Vincent Lapre, November 1990
