Spring of 2011 The Workplace Safety ARC (ARC) was created by the Office of Regulatory Reinvention (ORR) in accordance with Executive Order 2011‐5.

The purpose of the ARC was to evaluate and make recommendations for changes to Michigan’s workplace safety regulations, including existing administrative rules, non‐rule regulatory actions, regulatory processes, and as necessary, statutes.
