WHAT WE HEARD

Burkeville residents use the Templeton Area for recreati eation

  • n, to access SkyTrain

and the Airport, and as a natural bu buffer r from airport operations. Most people walk o

  • r cycle through the area every day. Few drive.

People really want the the multi-use path to connect t to Burkeville, have pedestrian-scale lighting and other sa safety features. The most important features for the community amenity area are flexi xibl ble green ensp space, do dog pa park/run, pl play ar area, and pi picnic area. People overwhelmingly prefer the green en wall fence for noise and visual mitigation from development. People support options that limit ac access s to Templeton Street. The most important landscaping measures for the greenspace are visu sual qu quality, sa safety and resi silience, with a ba balance of veget etati tion

  • n and

d ope pen sp space.

This is the direction provided to the landscape architect.
