Looking Ahead CAREER PATHWAYS • Contjnued growth of the Northfjeld ~ to 2020 ~ Community College Collaboratjve, supportjng over 50 young adults in pursuing postsecondary educatjon locally YOUTH ON BOARDS • Contjnue Educatjon Fellows Pilot for those interested in educatjon careers • Launch Public Sectors Fellows for those Contjnue to support youth on at least 22 boards/commissions interested in careers in the public sector • Contjnue to grow the diversity of the program • Deepen relatjonships with adults working with youth on boards • Grow the number of local NORTHFIELD ASAP nonprofjts partjcipatjng to 10 or more • Advocate for Tobacco 21 to be passed in Northfjeld and Rice County as a way to reduce youth vaping and tobacco use • Increase mental health and crisis resources for non-English speaking and uninsured community members YOUTHBANK • Betuer align strategies with community partners to address mental health across • Award nearly $15,000 in YouthBank grants to support Rice County youth-led efgorts • Hold workshop-type events to increase the number of students discussing issues and opportunitjes impactjng their community • Contjnue to provide individual support to 150+ Opportunity Youth, Tri-City Bridges connectjng them to educatjon and career exploratjon resources
