Students will be required to wear facemasks/coverings within the hallways between class periods.
Classes are capped at 12 slots maximum for in-school learning.
In Phase 1, there will be no hands-on Academic labs for 6th-12th Grade students. Once the school day begins, students will not be permitted to move freely between buildings. Students will remain in their homeroom for the duration of the day.
Hybrid Learning means your child will be in school for 2 days of in-school learning with a rotating learning on Friday and remotely learning for 2 days of the week. If a family chooses hybrid learning, you will be assigned to either Group A or Group B.
You will be provided a calendar that informs you of which days you have been assigned.
If the temperature is above 40F and weather permitting, dismissal will take place in the parking lot. If the temperature is below 40F or weather is not suitable, students will remain in their homeroom until they are called for pickup.
Each family will be provided with 3 copies of their Family ID card stating the names of their children. This is the security clearance for releasing your children to you. Unless the Office is notified of a change prior to dismissal time via email to info@noblela.org, no children will be dismissed without proper clearance. You will present this card to the on-duty staff member, curbside.
There will be a $100 PPE fee per student. Each homeroom class will be provided:
1 non-contact, thermal thermometer 1 complete first aid kit Unlimited supply of student safe, disinfecting solution/ spray and paper towels
The school will provide:
Disposable masks if a student requires one.
We are shortening the day to end at 1pm for several reasons.
Students will be cooped up in their classrooms each day. Sitting in the same 6ft square for almost 8 hours a day is not good for their health. We have to avoid the necessity to make wudu in the bathrooms due to limited space in our facility. We need enough time to properly disinfect the entire school daily. We need to offer support for our online learners.
Yes you can switch from in school learning to permanently remote learning. Yes you can switch from remote learning to in-school learning if there is a space in the classroom. Yes you can switch from remote learning to hybrid learning if there is a space in the classroom. Safety is our priority. We will be strictly adhering to class size limitations.
The Office will be sending out an emailed survey to determine if your family will be participate in remote, in-school, or hybrid learning. We highly recommend that decisions are made prior to August 17, 2020 so that we can properly prepare for the Fall.
