9-Valent HPV Vaccine

  • In Feb 2015 - Advisory Committee on Immunization

Practices (ACIP) recommended Gardisil 9 (9-valent HPV vaccine)

  • Protects against 9 HPV types
  • Recommended for Males and Females
  • Administered in a 3-dose schedule (same as other HPV

vaccines)

  • Maryland Vaccines For Children (VFC) Program

anticipates distributing Gardisil 9 to providers beginning June 2015
