Next steps • For the working groups to carry on with their assessments and • Bring issues and options for discussion at the themed workshops in early summer (May – June), • Follow up with policy and plan writing training for steering, working groups and Parish council before the summer break, • Start writing a first draft over the summer for consultation in the autumn. • We will also have to factor in preparing the Masterplan over the summer for consultation with the draft plan.

  23. TWBC Local Plan (Local Development Scheme) The revised timescales are: • To undertake consultation on a Draft Preferred Local Plan (Regulation 18) from August to September 2019: this is an 8 week (rather than 6 week) consultation period as it falls over the summer holiday period; • To undertake consultation on a Pre-Submission Local Plan (Regulation 19) from March 2020 – May 2020; this is again an 8 week (rather than 6 week) consultation period as it falls over the Easter holiday period; • To submit the plan in Autumn 2020.
