NCP Academy achievements so far

• The NCP Academy has since 2015 developed and carried out trainings within

four modules:

Module A) Training on Legal and Financial issues Module B) Training on Synergies between Horizon2020, European Structural and Investment Funds and other measures Module C) Training on Cross-cutting issues Module D) Training on SME and innovation Issues

• The NCP Academy has carried out trainings for other NCP networks and the

European Commission

• All power points and agendas from NCP Academy trainings are uploaded on

the project webpage to ensure that their knowledge content is spread and available for all NCPs. We also aim that webinars are recorded and uploaded.

• Learning NCPs new ways of teaching/communicating -> webinars, train-the-

trainers, facilitation.

42 trainings have been evaluated of an average grade above 4.48. More than 1,578 NCPs have taken part in the trainings the first 3 years of the NCP Academy

NCP Academy will help NCPs …

• By creating and implementing a new and integrated

training of Horizon 2020 advisors

• By creating and implementing training courses on cross-

cutting issues in Horizon 2020 relevant for all NCPs

• By bringing together NCP Coordinators and NCPs for Legal

and Financial aspects of Horizon 2020 and thereby making it easier to share knowledge and best practice

• By improving the professionalisation of NCP service across

Europe and simplifying access to Horizon 2020 calls

• Training will be on-site and via webinars and streaming

Topics of training in the NCP Academy

A key objective is to provide harmonised training of high quality in the areas of:

• Legal and financial issues;
• Synergies between Horizon 2020, multilateral

Initiatives, European Structural and Investment Funds and other measures;

• Cross-cutting issues such as ethics, gender

and others;

• SME and innovation issues.
