Workshop Flow

Pre-screening – Applicant is screened for eligibility and red

  • flags. Completed before the workshop.

Registra6on – Applicant arrives, checks in, and signs waiver. Applica6on Assistance – Volunteer completes N-400. Quality Control – AHorney reviews N-400. Applicant signs all documents. Copy and Mail – N-400 and suppor6ng documents assembled and packaged. Applicant receives copy. Exit Packet – Applicant will leave with a copy of the N-400 and all study materials.

What Happens Next?

A^er the workshop: Follow-up – Project Ci6zenship staff collect missing documents and informa6on. Review – Applica6on is reviewed by an aHorney or Department of Jus6ce accredited representa6ve before mailing. Mailing – Project Ci6zenship mails completed packages to USCIS.

A^er the applica6on is mailed . . . 3-4 weeks: Receipt of applica6on

  • Determina6on of fee waiver request.

1-2 months: Biometrics appointment 4-5 months: Interview with USCIS

  • Determina6on of Medical Disability Waiver

5-6 months: Oath ceremony
