  4. New Features Benefiting Industry, cont. • New fields in Claim Billing Pricing segment related to tax and regulatory fees • More help desk information from the processor/PBM • Enhancements to the Prescriber segment • A new “Intermediary” segment for REMS programs

  5. Benefits of Proposed F2 Standard • Improved pharmacy efficiency and possible workflow automation • Improved transparency and communication between the pharmacy and processor/PBM • Enhanced ability to comply with new regulations • Improved patient experience

Implementation • Adequate time should be given for implementation – Business planning, development and testing, trading partner testing, rollout to stores • Voluntary transition between willing trading partners is a critical phase • Seasonal workload and the Compliance Date • Encourage Medicaid agencies to begin planning now
