Academic Services — Selected Comments

They are great The walk-ins sessions are very helpful. The Fellowships staff is wonderful. Really appreciated having an academic fellowship and having an academic advisor to talk to when I was having a lot of personal turmoil. Pre-Health advising was a literal Godsend. I don't know how I would have gotten into medical school if it weren't for their careful tutelage... OAS helped me figure out courses and what path I wanted to follow at Brandeis I was able to make lasting connections in the study abroad office. They really know what they're doing and have a passion for the topic. I really enjoyed the BUGS program offered through Academic Services, both as a tutee and a tutor. Academic Services has been so excellent these past four years. I've had tons of help with advising, have been checked on by my advisor regularly, and feel like I am truly supported.

  • Everything where the brandeis community comes together,

springfest, any of the concerts, chums, seeing shows whether it be a cappella, or improv or plays and musicals. Also although they were very hard I really enjoyed being in the sciences.

  • Folk Fest, Study Abroad, being outside with friends, putting on the

Drag Show, community collaboration.

  • Quality of staff and students
  • The students, the community, the professors, the opportunities at a

school this size to take ownership of your experience and really start something.

  • time spent with friends who share my classes and interests
  • Freshmen orientation, 24-hour musical, going to culture shows and

theater performances, study abroad.

  • There are too many to name. I've met the greatest people in my life

at Brandeis. I've made some connections with professors that'll continue after I graduate. Planning Springfest and having it be so successful was also a fond memory. Enjoying campus with my friends will always be in my mind and heart!

  • Talking with hall mates and roommates late into the night about

anything and everything. My peers have made my education what it is.

  • I have too many fond memories to list them all here, so I'll only

name a few. First, I first found my niche at Brandeis with the Catholic Student Organization and Father Walter Cuenin. Second, Brandeis has such rich extracurricular opportunities, and many of my fondest memories are from founding and then leading a club. . . Brandeis has provided me a lifetime worth of positive experiences.
