MUNCHNER AIDS-HILFE  Founded in January 1984  Focus: HIV/AIDS prevention work and to provide assistance for HIV- infected people  Services: employment training, prevention education, screening tests, counseling services, health promotion, and social and vocational rehabilitation  Client Base: gay men, migrants, drug users, and people in prison

  7. SENIORENTREFF STARNBERG  Focus: keep seniors engaged after retirement through frequent events and activities  Services: language groups, concerts, sports (walking/hiking, skiing, curling), excursion and travel, sightseeing, computer classes, discussion groups, and lectures

WEISSE ROSE MUSEUM  A group of students and a philosophy professor from University of Munich came together to fight against Hitler’s and the Nazi’s violations of human rights  They educated the public of Hitler’s and the Nazi’s actions through anonymous leaflets lasting from June 1942 until February 1943

DACHAU CONCENTRATION CAMP  Opened in 1933 and liberated by the U.S. in 1945  Dachau Concentration Camp was intended for political prisoners and was a labor camp unlike Auschwitz Concentration Camp  Dachau Concentration Camp demonstrates the blatant violation of human rights through deplorable living conditions, humiliation, appalling working conditions, torture, and execution
