  • The 2020 GHG Inventory (2017 data) shows a

continued trend of overall decreased emissions from 2005.

  • Net emissions increased in 2017 from 2016.
  • The biggest decrease since 2016 came from the

electricity production sector, with a decrease of 5.34 MMTCO2e.

  • This decrease is counteracted by increases in the

transportation (3.55 MMTCO2e) and industrial (2.48 MMTCO2e) sectors.
