Case Study You would like to implement the Choosing Wisely recommendations on imaging for low back pain amongst your colleagues. After attending a 2 hour Mainpro+ certified workshop on the Choosing Wisely recommendations, you obtain copies of the 2010 publication referred to in the presentation. You invite your colleagues to a 1 hour “bring your own lunch” meeting to review the article and discuss the recommendations. As you are finishing up your meeting, a representative from XYZ Pharma visits your office for 30 minutes to discuss low back pain management with a new NSAID. You spend 2 hours researching the new NSAID and decide not to incorporate it into your treatment protocol at this time.
