Traditional college courses offered at FRCC and Aims CC • Select from a wide variety of courses at FRCC or Aims CC • Must provide your own transportation and meet testing requirements • Tuition paid by TSD for up to two classes per semester; student/parent are responsible for class materials and fees How to register • Add course titled “ Concurrent College Class ”, course numbers S210 (semester 1) and/or S211 (semester 2), to your list of course requests • March 25 th : Meeting w/counseling department for all students interested in Campus Select classes for Fall 2020.

  18. 5 th Year Program • Students must apply – spaces are limited • Students must have a minimum of 12 college credits by the end of senior year to be eligible • 5 th year of “high school” is completed exclusively at community college • Full year of community college tuition is paid • See your counselor for complete eligibility information

  21. Online Course Requests Click on “More” heading after logging in to Portal then choose “Course Registration”

  22. Search for Classes 1. Click on the blue “Add Course” button 2. Search by Course Name or Course Number

  23. Click a course title to view a class description

  24. Click “Add Request” button to add the class to list of requests; Choose “Add Alternate” to add to list of alternate choices

  25. By clicking on the + sign, you can select courses without viewing a class description Remember to add both semesters for each full year course (1.0 credit)

  26. As you enter your requests, they will appear in a list of Course Requests Your list needs to include a minimum of 11/16 units (5.5 credits)

  27. To Drop a Request: • Click on the red X next to the course title in your list of requests • Confirm the drop by choosing “Delete”

  28. After requesting all classes (at least 11), choose 4 alternates. • List alternates in priority order. • Move course requests to alternates by clicking “Convert to Alternate” button

  29. Your online course registration is compete when your list includes at least 11 out of 16 units (classes) + 4 alternates Click “Print” and return printout with registration worksheet

  30. Printouts Require Parent Signature Return printout and your worksheet

  32. Your registration must be completed by: MONDAY, JANUARY 27 TH During your Modern America, AP US History, or IB History of Americas class, you will meet with your counselor in the library to finalize your requests. Please be prepared at that time! If you do not have a history class in your schedule, please report to the library during an open period. Be sure to return both the blue registration worksheet and the printout from portal with signatures on both forms. YOU MUST ENTER YOUR COURSE REQUESTS IN PORTAL BEFORE YOU MEET WITH YOUR COUNSELOR!
