The population of the current community is estimated to be 3,770 in 2010 an overall increase

  • f 10% on the 2001

census returns as detailed in the table below: Currently the community area is just

  • utside the most deprived 54% of wards in

Northern Ireland up from being in the bottom 50% in 2001. However the proximity to services domain continues to decline highlighting the area’s rural location.

Serving Locally produced Homemade foods Created 4 Jobs in the Community Open to the public 6 days a week Can be used for functions & Parties

  • Creation of 50 jobs in the complex
  • Inviting people/Jobs/ Businesses to the area
  • PG Contracts Employs 10 staff in house and provide

subcontract work for over 50 self employed tradesman & Woman of which 80% are from the local area.

  • Fire-protec Employ 7 people in house and provide

subcontract work to 20 tradesmen and woman in Northern Ireland, England and R.Ireland

  • Loughview Meats – Was the first

butcher in the community taking up residency in a unit originally design for a cheese making. Employs 4 Staff full time supplying the public and local business with produce.
