• LAC-2009-05 Allocation of 16-bit only ASNs
• LAC-2009-06 Resource Recovery
• LAC-2009-07 Modification of the minimum initial IPv4 allocation size for

ISPs to a /22

• LAC-2009-08 Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Policy for

Allocation of ASN Blocks (ASNs) to Regional Internet Registries

LACNIC XII meeting

• Held in Panama City, from may 24th - 29th, 2009
• More then 300 persons from 40 different economies
• Tutorials (IPv6, BGP, CSIRTs, IXP)
• Presentation of the AMPARO project:

Provides training and promotes the creation of Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs)

• Presentation of SIMON project:

Measurement project for the region.

LACNIC CARIBBEAN 2 meeting

lacnic.org and programafrida.org domains.
