La Fondation Louisiane 735 Rue Jefferson Lafayette, Louisiana 70501 Scholarship Opportunities ALCFES The Association of Louisiana High School French Clubs, Association louisianaise des clubs de français des écoles secondaires (ALCFES), sponsors a French Immersion weekend convention annually in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, or Lafayette, that features social activities, meals, guest speakers, competitions, entertainment and skits in French. ALCFES is the principle event for application and qualification for the various scholarships supported by La Fondation Louisiane and CODOFIL (Council for the Development of French in Louisiana). Only one student per high school is allowed to participate in the scholarship competition during the ALCFES convention and the student is selected by his/her teacher/French Club director. The ALCFES convention will be held on February 19-21, 2016 at the Crowne Plaza New Orleans-Airport, 2829 Williams Boulevard, Kenner, LA 70062.
