Up to one hour before and after our standard hours and 30 minutes after extended hours working 07:00 to 08:00 and 18:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday or 22:-00-22:30 Monday to Friday

Maintenance periods

On occasions due to health & safety requirements we will also carry out maintenance between 08:00 to 17:00 Saturdays and 10:00 to 16:00 Sundays

• Additional ground improvement works mean that construction at the site will take longer

than anticipated

• To minimise the additional construction duration, Tideway propose to submit a Non

Material Amendment (NMA) to the DCO for a change to the main tunnel alignment

• If approved, this will mean the main tunnel will be constructed approximately 15m further

southeast than the alignment approved under the DCO

• The realignment will mean the tunnel will not pass directly through the KEMPF drop shaft,

but will instead pass to the east of the shaft. A new connection tunnel (approx 15m in length) will then connect the drop shaft to the main tunnel

• This will enable the drop shaft and main tunnel to be built at the same time and will

minimise the additional construction duration at KEMPF

• All changes will be approx 60m below ground
• This NMA will not change the size or location of the shaft or any above ground features
