Who are we?

Younique Travel Adventures are experts in group travel We have a team of experienced coordinators and grounds staff in Kenya who are well experienced in providing safe and ethical travel to all who use us. Our teams are based exactly where we organise our trips too so we can ensure that the activities you take part in and communities you visit are both safe and most importantly they want us there and we are making a positive IMPACT!

What do we do?

Younique Travel Adventures organises trips for schools, colleges, universities and other groups. We run trips to a remarkable developing country Kenya. Our trips focus on Community cohesion and are full of adventure and culture. We pride ourselves on putting the communities we visit and those that travel with us at the heart of what we do. Unlike a Travel Agent we will be with you every step of the way!

complete education

approx 10% Indigenous beliefs, 10% Muslim

Volunteer Experience

I wanted an adventure and an experience, and that's definitely what I got! I met some amazing people. I would say to anyone to not let shyness and self-doubts get in the

  • way. Go for it, you

won't regret it! Volunteering in Kenya is a life changing experience for me and for the people I am able to serve and

  • help. Thanks to my

employer "BT Openreach" who supported my trip by giving me 5 days extra paid leave to help make a difference to children's lives.

YOUnite Foundation – Partner Charity

YTA ensures that part of each volunteers trip cost goes directly to

  • ur projects VIA our partner Charity.

Without volunteers these projects have no stable income to maintain the schools.

Volunteers contribute to general school maintenance, resources, food, clothes, health care.

To date we have been able to provide the projects with food, water, learning resources, 4 new classrooms, teacher training, fences, gates, toilets, play equipment, resurfaced class room floors, provided water on site, painting and decorating.

Without volunteers this the hard work so far couldn’t have

  • happened. YOU make a difference!

Fundraising – “You can do it!” The majority of students that take

part in this trip fundraise towards their trip cost! Here are some ideas!

 Commitment, planning, time management  You are the commodity  As a volunteer you are making a huge difference

to the lives of the children you help.

 With out volunteers the projects don’t receive

direct aid. As a volunteer you can see first hand where any fundraising goes.

Fundraising ideas:

 Consider you skills and contacts  Charity Ball  Cake sales  Sponsored events – bike rides, swimathon, running  Patio party!  Disco/ Charity gig  Krispy Kreme – fundraising pack  Non school uniform days  Contact local companies for

Sponsorship or raffle /auction prizes

 GoFundMe.com
