Laisvės Avenue is the longest pedestrian street in Eastern Europe, the main Kaunas city street and the most important city’s functional space, located in Naujamiestis district, connecting the old and the new parts of the city. Stadium reconstruction will enlarge the main building to up to 20.000 sq.m. and bring it up to standard to all international requirements for the most important sports events to take place in it.
