Petronect was created on October 18th of 2002 to provide electronic commerce services related to the procurement of goods and services. Through the electronic portal, transactions are carried out ranging from requests for quotations and proposals submissions to contracts and orders management.

After the approval of the registration, there is the clearance so the supplier can participate in purchase and contracting processes. The supplier candidate creates a user at the first access to Petronect Portal. Then, fills out the basic data and evaluation questionnaires, in the Petronect Portal. Petrobras performs the evaluation of the questionnaires and the issuance of the certificate.

The Payment Functionality aims to allow the suppliers to have access to the predictability of their payment by Petrobras.

Supplier sends the NF-e and/or CT-e through Petronect Portal. Petrobras performs the payment according to the date scheduled in the previous step. Petrobras approves and validates the document sent. Information regarding the scheduling becomes available at Petronect Portal.

The supplier visualizes the scheduled date for the payment, currency, gross amount, taxes, deductions, net amount and the fiscal document key.

Environmental Responsability

The Petrobras, by using Petronect, reduces the impact of CO2 in the atmosphere:

Paper Rationing: The Petrobras Group uses the Portal since 2003

as a tool to transact the following purchasing activities: electronic quotation, electronic auction and electronic (order/request). Based on the data of the analyzed period, the Petrobras Group transacted in the Portal 2,443,749 electronic processes and

5,173,617 requests. The company spared, on average, the

utilization of 1,481 tons of paper.

Traveling Rationing: Based on the data from the period, 842

• nline trainings were conducted and no trips related to the

purchasing processes transacted in the Portal were required. Thus, the company spared the emission of 1,345 tons of CO2.
