Guiding Principles and Values Activity

Purpose

  • In small groups, identify key values and develop three (3) guiding principle

statements or concepts that you feel should be reflected in the guiding principles for the 5-Year Transportation Plan. Format

  • Break into small groups (~4 people each)
  • Select a notetaker to capture your discussion
  • Write your values/guiding principles statements on a flip chart
  • At the conclusion of the small group discussion, place your flip chart notes on

the wall

  • The facility will reconvene the large group to share and discuss ideas
