Clothes in the uniform bank will not be identifiable as such
There will be a line item in the 2015-2016 budget sufficient to purchase uniforms for approximately 300 students (2 each) uniforms and 50 loaner uniforms (650 uniforms estimated at $8,500) – this is approximately 3% of the building budget.
We will have a space designated for a uniform closet. We plan to re-purpose existing shelves.
McKean will work in cooperation with Communities in Schools to develop a process for students to donate unwanted uniforms when they graduate as well as find outside vendors that are willing to donate funds or uniforms to our bank. Section 5: Procedures for New Enrollees and students covered by the McKinney-Vento Act
