Matthew 13:44

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his great joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

Believing there is a treasure leaves us frustrated and yearning for it. Possessing the treasure brings great joy to our whole life.

Do I hear you professing to believe in the one and only God, but then observe you complacently sitting back as if you had done something wonderful? That’s just great.

Demons do that, but what good does it do them? Use your heads! Do you suppose for a minute that you can cut faith and works in two and not end up with a corpse on your hands?

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.“

God, the Father, gave His greatest gift, God the Son, to be our greatest treasure.

17...a man came running up to (Jesus),

knelt down, and asked, “... what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 19 ...you know the commandments: ‘You must not

You must not steal. You must not testify falsely. You must not cheat

21 Looking at the man, Jesus felt

went away sad, for he had many possessions.

Is Christ my greatest treasure or is He overshadowed by something else?

He wants me to treasure Him because He treasures me.

But, Nothing Will Change unless and until Nothing Else Matters, Except Him.

 Affecting others for His name and bringing Him glory.

 Spending time in His Word daily expecting Him to speak to me.
