AP = “ ADVANCED PLACEMENT” This is a COLLEGE LEVEL COURSE BENEFITS:  Prepares a student for the rigor of college  In May, AP Students may take an exam ($90); many colleges grant college credit for specific AP test scores SHOULD I TAKE AN AP COURSE???  Check pre-requisites; Talk to your teachers and parents  Some require a contract, summer assignments or an application – carefully consider your ability to complete the extra work.
