«Children. Society and Future – the Planet of Psychotherapy» IMPORNANT INFORMATION. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the IX World Congress for Psychotherapy «The Planet of Psychotherapy» will be postponed till 2021. The new dates of the Congress June 24-27, 2021. The congress and its p re- and post-congress events will take place in Moscow and online , Altai Mountains and Lake Baikal, just as planned.
What is the IX World Congress for Psychotherapy 2020-2021 in Russia? The IX World Congress for Psychotherapy is the most large- • scale professional event in the field of psychotherapy at the worldwide level, host by Russia for the first time ever. World congresses for psychotherapy have been held since • 1996, once every 3 years. The previous congress was took place in 2017 in Paris; the next one will be organized in 2023 in Vienna. • Organizer: World Council for Psychotherapy. Countries which hosted the World Congress earlier: Austria, • Argentina, China, Australia, South Africa and France.
The main organizer of the 9th World Congress for Psychotherapy in Russia – the All-Russian Professional Psychotherapeutic League (PPL Russia) – is the largest organization which consolidates psychologists and psychotherapists in Russian- speaking countries and communities. Professional Psychotherapeutic League has successfully held the Eurasian Congress for Psychotherapy in Moscow in 2013 and the European Congress for Psychotherapy in 2001.
What do we know about the IX World Congress for Psychotherapy 2020-2021 in Russia and why should you become a part of it? Professionals from all over the world will share their discoveries and achievements on integrating psychotherapeutic theory and practice. The World Congress for Psychotherapy will be held from 24 to 27 June 2021 in Moscow and online . The congress is organized as a Psyfest – Festival of Psychotherapy and Psychology – and includes scientific and practice-oriented programs with oral presentations featuring the achievements of leading psychotherapists from all over the world, workshops, training seminars, lectures, supervision, therapeutic and balint groups from recognized multinational and Russian experts, international festivals of professional organizations and educational institutions in the field of psychotherapy from across the globe.
Many colleagues have already confirmed their presence; the congress will be also hosting live broadcasts with the most notorious psychotherapists of the world who do not have the possibility to attend the congress personally.
