  • After January 12, 2016, Microsoft will support IE9 only on

Windows Vista, IE10 only on Windows Server 2012, and IE11 on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

  • IE7 and IE8 will drop off support completely, no matter what OS

they run on

  • Agencies must be prepared to stop using older versions by that

date

  • Windows 10 includes IE 11 and Edge. Edge will have the

‘Evergreen’ method of updating as fixes are available and will not have major point releases like IE.

  • Are agencies standardized on IE?
  • What other browsers are you using or considering?
  • The current Desktop Suite standard specifies IE as the “Standard

for internal Enterprise applications?”
