• This ¡part ¡of ¡the ¡story ¡is ¡a ¡mystery ¡

– People ¡were ¡watching ¡ – People ¡who ¡knew ¡this ¡man ¡would ¡know ¡ – He ¡would ¡want ¡to ¡proclaim ¡the ¡good ¡news ¡ – The ¡news ¡would ¡bring ¡Jesus ¡to ¡the ¡forefront ¡ – By ¡sending ¡him ¡straightway ¡to ¡the ¡priests ¡in ¡ Jerusalem, ¡some ¡say ¡that ¡Jesus ¡wanted ¡ them ¡to ¡unknowingly ¡legi^mize ¡His ¡ministry ¡

But, ¡why ¡keep ¡it ¡a ¡secret? ¡

• In ¡any ¡case, ¡the ¡man ¡didn’t ¡follow ¡Jesus’s ¡

command! ¡

– Mark ¡1:45 ¡says: ¡“Instead ¡he ¡went ¡out ¡and ¡began ¡ to ¡talk ¡freely, ¡spreading ¡the ¡news. ¡As ¡a ¡result, ¡ Jesus ¡could ¡no ¡longer ¡enter ¡a ¡town ¡openly ¡but ¡ stayed ¡outside ¡in ¡lonely ¡places. ¡Yet ¡the ¡people ¡s^ll ¡ came ¡to ¡him ¡from ¡everywhere.” ¡
