• Jordan Valley Development Law and its amendment No(19)

for the year 1988.

• Article No (3) 2: Jordan Valley Authority may by decision of

the Cabinet of Ministers upon the recommendations of the Board pledge any of the accomplished projects or shall be completed or managed or any investment project carried out by the Authority in the valley to any person from the private sector through leasing, management or operation in accordance with the legislation in force excludes the transfer

• WUAs activities shall cover all the irrigated area in JV
• WUAs will take the responsibilities of soft maintenance
• WUAs shall collect irrigation water fees.
• WUAs shall work under the umbrella of organizational body

(Union).

• WUA shall take the responsibilities of irrigation project

infrastructure.

• WUA s shall be financially independent and self finance.
