INTELLIGENT AGENTS •Intelligent agents are automatic emails that are sent to students in response to their actions •Marketing Fundamentals is a large unit with approximately 3000 students per year. •They are a way of engaging with students who are at risk of disengaging and making students feel that we care. * The Bachelor of Commerce and MBA at Deakin University is internationally EPAS accredited Deakin University CRICOS Provider Code: 00113B

RESULTS -INCREASED STUDENT ENGAGEMENT Intelligent Agents enable us to: • Start a dialogue with students who we wouldn’t otherwise speak with • Identify at risk students early and direct students to the right resources This has led to: • An increase in student assessment submissions, as students are: • More engaged • For disengaged students an awareness of assessment requirements • Notified if they haven’t submitted Feedback from students indicate that they find the personalised communication to be motivating and an important learning tool. * The Bachelor of Commerce and MBA at Deakin University is internationally EPAS accredited Deakin University CRICOS Provider Code: 00113B
