  3. • LEVEL 2 FACILITIES • Health clinic- This facility is the second level of care that offers basic outpatient services. • Dental clinic- An outpatient facility for the treatment of dental related problems. • Dispensary- This facility is the second level of care that offers basic outpatient services. It encompasses public, private, school based, company based and faith based facilities.

LEVEL 2 FACILITIES • Mobile clinic- Health facility that operates through migration of the clinics from one area to another • Eye clinic- A health facility for the treatment of outpatient eye clients (including optical) for not more than twelve hours. • Home-based care services- Health care service provided at the patient’s home

  5. LEVEL 2 FACILITIES • Funeral standalone- A facility where─ dead bodies are stored; and undergo autopsy before cremation or burial;

  6. LEVEL 3 FACILITIES Level 3A – Comprehensive Health centre • A health facility that provides comprehensive curative, preventive, promotive and rehabilitative health services including maternity theatre services.

  7. LEVEL 3 FACILITIES Level 3B-General medical & Dental clinic

  8. LEVEL 3 FACILITIES Level 3C- Basic Health Centre • A health facility that has been gazetted as a health centre, that offers many ambulatory health services and generally offer preventive and curative services appropriate to local needs.

  9. LEVEL 4 FACILITIES Level 4A- Primary care hospital This is the principal primary referral hospital It offers services that compliment primary health care services to allow for a delivery of a more comprehensive care

  10. LEVEL 4 FACILITIES Level 4B Facilities Specialist stand alone medical centre, medical surgical, diagnostic and clinical laboratory centre

  11. LEVEL 4 FACILITIES Level 4C- Specialist health clinic Offers one or more specialized services, limited to diagnostic , outpatient, daycare and consultancy services

  12. LEVEL 5 FACILITIES Level 5- Hospital level 5 A health facility that is a secondary referral hospital That provides services offered in a Level 4 facility and more comprehensive set of services together with internship services for medical staff, research and serve as training centres for paramedical staff.

  13. LEVEL 6 FACILITIES Level 6A- National teaching and Referral Hospital

  14. Level 6B-Specialized hospital • A health facility that offers specialized services exclusively or a group of specialized services, among others, radiological services, oncology services; ophthalmology services, dental services and renal.
