Honoring the Land

We recognize the traditional keepers and carers of this land, Nez Perce, Chinook, Klamath, Paiute, Molalla, and Cayuse peoples who keep those lands upon where we meet, and thank them for allowing us to use those lands. May we hold witness to the treatment of indigenous peoples and their sovereignty by the government.

The St. Catherine University CATIE Center received two grants for 2017–2021 from the U.S. Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services Administration to advance interpreter education:

Graduation to Certification, award #H160C160001, to investigate, pilot, evaluate, and disseminate evidence-based practices to decrease the time between graduation and certification. Behavioral Health Interpreting Project, award #H160D160003, to increase the number and diversity of certified interpreters available to work in mental and behavioral health settings.
