Founded by Davis Simons in 1900 after emigrating from his native Russia, he created a hard working, energetic company which is still apparent today. Succeeded by his son Jack, the company was first established as a manufacturer and supplier to the reproduction furniture trade. His three sons, Stephen, Howard and Brian continued to develop the business with the same work ethic and entered into the picture framing industry in the 1970’s. Occupying some 400,000 square feet and employing over 500 people, Simons are now established as market leader. In the 1980’s Emafyl was established with its production of extruded polystyrene and in 1996 received the Queen’s Award for Export Achievement. Since then the fourth generation, Daniel, Anthony, Robert and Amanda have joined the company to ensure the family commitment and service to our customers continues well into the 21st Century. We have never forgotten that a company is only as successful as its customers.

Together with other complimenting machinery, such as various bevel machines to ensure that the best quality mirror is produced.

They assist our Chinese design team in a combined effort to develop new products to stay on the forefront of fashion, trend and design.
