A communications professional since 1988, Ann-Marie provides strategic communications counsel to

- sectors. Her specialties include strategic communications
counsel, crisis and issue management, change management, public affairs, media training. Ann-Marie holds a BComm. from University College Cork and is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland. She served as Chairman of the PRCA Ireland from 2009 to 2011, the first time in the Association’s 21-year-history that the elected Chairman came from a firm based
- utside Dublin.
Ann-Marie has been a Director of Cork Chamber and was a member of the Cork Strategic Tourism Taskforce. She currently sits on the boards of Good Shepherd Services and UCC Alumni and is a member of the Cork Airport Development Council.

Tina has significant experience and expertise in Corporate PR, including strategic planning, crisis/issue management, stakeholder engagement, media relations, project management and event management. She has worked in the communications industry since 1990 and holds the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) Diploma in PR. Tina worked with O’Sullivan Public Relations Limited from 1990 and joined the team at H+A Marketing + PR when the agency merged with O’Sullivan Public Relations in January 2008. In March 2015, she joined long-term colleagues Ann- Marie O’Sullivan and Robin O’Sullivan in establishing AM O’Sullivan PR Limited. Tina works across a number of key corporate client accounts within the consultancy.

A PR practitioner since 1969, Robin O’Sullivan initially worked as a journalist with the Cork Examiner/Evening Echo and was RTÉ News’ first full time reporter in Cork. In 1981 he left the John Daly Group, where he was a director at Coca-Cola Bottling Company, to set up O’Sullivan Public Relations Ltd. A steadily-growing client portfolio included local authorities, the dairy industry and leading companies in the pharmaceutical, industrial and high-tech sectors across the country. Robin participated in the establishment of Ireland’s first licenced local television station as director and presenter from 1985 to 1988. He has served as Director of the Cork International Film Festival, President of Cork Chamber and of the Chambers
- f Commerce of Ireland, and was a Director of the
National Consumer Agency. He is currently a director of Bishopstown Credit Union. He holds a Life Fellowship from the Public Relations Institute of Ireland.

Eoin is a PR professional with over ten years’ experience in a variety of roles across the sector. A former journalist with Thomas Crosbie Holdings (TCH) and the Cork Independent, Eoin spent a number of years in political PR before moving to in-house PR roles with Laya Healthcare, Vodafone and Tesco Ireland. Eoin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from University College Cork as well as a Higher Diploma in Journalism Practice from TCH. Eoin has extensive experience in crisis management, issues management, internal communications, strategic PR, media relations and stakeholder engagement.

A former journalist and subeditor, Brenda manages PR services on behalf of clients including media relations, event management and stakeholder engagement. Before joining the team, Brenda worked as a lecturer at the Department of Media Communications in CIT, as Fundraising and Communications Manager with Adi Roche’s Chernobyl Children International and for PR agencies and newspapers in Cork, Dublin and Galway. Mayo-born Brenda has worked on a number of high- profile events and award-winning PR campaigns including the Cork City Culture Night 2012 recognised at the 2013 Excellence in PR Awards. Janssen Science Ireland UC, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork
Activity: The project involved the expansion of the Janssen Sciences UC facility in Ringaskiddy, with an investment of more than €300 million to increasing the manufacturing capacity of the facility by an additional 19,100m2. The original facility
- pened in 2005 and the new expansion will create an
additional 200 full-time jobs, with up to 450 people employed during construction. Our Role: To provide strategic communications advice to the senior management team, and deliver a comprehensive public consultation and stakeholder management plan, together with media relations and issue management advice. The company received planning permission for the expansion in September 2017. It’s important to note that no
- bjections were received by the planning authority in
relation to the Janssen Sciences UC application.

Roche Ireland Ltd. Clarecastle, Co. Clare
Background: In 2016, Roche took a corporate decision to exit from small molecule manufacturing. This impacted a site in the US, two sites on mainland Europe and the Clarecastle manufacturing facility. As part of the exit plan for Clarecastle, a site remediation plan is being developed which will include the demolition
- f some buildings and the remediation of the landfill.
A masterplanning process is also underway to determine the best potential uses for the site, following the cessation
- f production and the departure of Roche.

Our Role: To provide strategic communications advice to Roche Ireland regarding its landfill remediation project, as it prepares to exit its Clarecastle pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Our role also involves advising the senior leadership team
- n proactive stakeholder engagement, consultation with
the local community, media relations and issue management. The remediation of the Clarecastle landfill is only the second such project in the history of the Irish state.
