• The changing economy/political environment increase the value of our

institution in serving both the individual and the community

• High unemployment rate 16%
• 30 000 students in 3 large Campuses
• EST is a major actor in regional development (11% National territory)
• We offer 25 Academic programs designed to serve the needs in workforce
• Enrollment: from 377 students to 1270 in 2010/11 of which over 50% are

females
