Account Set-Up
To set up your GSLE and NuCore accounts email this information to: Sequencing@CGM .Northwestern.edu

Log in to GSLE
NU Username is your Net ID. Non-NU Username is your email address. Password is not linked to your Net ID password. If you are logging in for the first time, enter your Username and click “Forgot Password?” to set your password.

Primer Information - 1
2) Click “Yes” if you are using primers that are not in our system. 1) Click “No” if you are using core supplied primers or primers you have already entered in GSLE.

1) Enter Primer Name 2) Leave “User Supplied” as source 3) Change Type to “User Supplied Primer” 5) Enter Concentration (1 uM), Volume and Description 6) Click “Save Primers” to Proceed. 4) Enter Primer Sequence

1) Customer NU Users = Your Net ID Non-NU Users = Your Email address 3) Order Name is for your reference only. 4) Select Template Type and Clean-Up Method from Menus. 5) Order comments are

Sample Information
Excel Buttons to Download
Information 2) Enter Template name using no special characters 3) Primer names must match what is in the system exactly. Click on to select primers from a list. 4) Enter exact concentration for each sample in ng/uL
1) Enter your Range and click “Go”
5) Enter total volume for each sample. 6) Enter total vector size (backbone + insert) 8) Click “Next” to submit your samples. 7) Check box to have samples nanodropped.

Sample Information - Individual and Plate Premix
Order information is the same for all services – see slide 10 for details Only Sample name, Primer and Total Volume are required for premix submissions. Use excel buttons to download template file and upload sample information.

View and Download Results
We recommend downloading FinchTV to view your sequencing results. FinchTV is a free program for viewing sequencing files that integrates directly with GSLE. Click on the “Get FinchTV” Link in the upper right hand corner
The link will take you to the Perkins Elmer website where you can download FinchTV for free.
