WHAT WE E HEARD THE COMMUNITY ASKED FOR THEIR PLAN TO: • Support and encourage sustainable development by means of environmental protection and climate change mitigation strategies; • Support and encourage specialized/group care facilities and various forms of housing that encourage aging in place; • Support the expansion and densification of the commercial and institutional footprint of the Town by offering strategic and flexible development opportunities; • Support comprehensive recreation and leisure policies to capitalize on existing and future public space and amenities; • Support the possibilities for various modes of transportation and connectivity throughout the Town; and • Add clarity to the Town’s development process.
