Office of Student Support and Career Counseling is a unit which assists students and follows their educational process, during and after its completion, creating a database with available data on their careers, successes, difficulties during their adaptation to the market, their achievements, lobbying for the protection of their professional rights.

The task of getting the alumni involved in decision-making processes in key activities related to teaching and other activities such as research, development, and the services offered. 1.  The students conduct their internships mainly in private businesses/ studios (72%), 12% in public institutions/ administration  The reasons for not attending abroad the internship:

• financial limitations;
• not having contact with companies,
• the Development of the thesis during the same period of the internship

 The students evaluate the work of OSSCC regarding:

• the general information on internship opportunities
• career counseling during the internship
• providing database of companies/institutions

 The students would prefer from the OSSCC:

• Contacts with businesses
• Information for studying abroad
• Specific trainings

 The students have stated regarding their internship:

• 97% have been easily integrated in the work
• 75% have stated that the company/institution have provided personal work
• 97% have considered the internship as an opportunity for professional development
• 96% have declared that they were monitored by a supervisor
• 98% of the students have specified that the professional computer programs and the core courses have been

useful during their professional practice  Self-evaluation during internship: Strong points: Accuracy (32%) Communication (31%), Group Work (24%) Weakest points: Group Work (23%), Professionalism (19%)…  After the internship:

• 62% of the students have declared that they were offered a job
• The work is in compliance with the studies (38%), it fits the interests of the student/ study program (29%); 24% have

stated that they already work there.
