ATONEMENT NEEDED

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life” (Leviticus 17:11). “Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins” (Hebrews 9:22).

LAW NOT A MEANS OF SALVATION

“For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin” (Romans 3:20). “So then, the law was our guardian until Christ came, in order that we might be justified by faith” (Galatians 3:24).

GRATEFUL CHRIST CAME
